Susan Doyle, the local Green Party of Ontario’s candidate for the upcoming provincial election, is committed to advocating for the needs of Miltonians.
A champion for eco-education and sustainable policies, Doyle says she’s “ready to stand up for communities in Milton.”
“I am committed to bringing integrity and collaboration to Queen’s Park to ensure sustainable, equitable policies that truly work for you,” Doyle said in a news release.
Doyle is the CEO of a provincial eco-education non-profit that connects children with nature. She holds a Master’s in Social Work and has pursued executive education at Harvard’s Kennedy School and Rotman School of Management, according to her party’s bio.
A mother of three, Doyle is an active volunteer on her local school council, and has served on multiple boards. She currently sits on the governance Parent Involvement Committee for the Halton District School Board and the board of a local Brain Injury Association.
Mike Schreiner, leader of the Ontario Greens, praises Doyle’s commitment to “making housing more affordable, speaking up against Doug Ford’s privatization agenda and reversing the damage he’s done to our health-care system and our food and farming industries.”
“While Doug Ford focuses on helping billionaires,” he said in the release, Doyle is committed to “addressing the needs of people in Milton.”
Voters will head to the polls on Feb. 27.
