The Milton location is a purpose-built private aquatic facility that has been part of the Making Waves family of pools since 2006. In the summer of 2014 it underwent a major renovation and now boasts a spacious family change room, a large modern viewing area, expanded parking lot and a state of the art UV water sanitation system!
Families in Milton also love the wide walk-in steps for small children and the handy kids’ play area. The pool is also kept at a warm 90 degrees to keep your little ones warm while they learn! Please stop by during business hours for a tour and more information!
Our story began in the Summer of 1994 when an 18-year-old Tiernan Murphy taught 50 kids to swim in his parents’ backyard pool and Making Waves Swim School was born!
Almost thirty years later, we have locations in Brampton, Milton, Mississauga, Vaughan and Guelph. We teach over 7,000 students per week in learn-to-swim programs while staying true to the care, enthusiasm and passion Tiernan put into that first summer.
