BMW crashes into Milton storefront following 3-vehicle collision

No serious injuries reported

A plaza in the southeast corner of Main Street and Tremaine Road in Milton became the scene of a three-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon, with one of the vehicles — a BMW — crashing into a storefront.

Const. Jeff Dillon, Halton police’s media officer, reported that they received a call about a vehicle smashing into the building of Physio on Wellness and Sports Clinic (6000 Main St.) at 2:33 p.m.

There were no reported injuries to anyone in the store, Dillon said.

The number of vehicle occupants is unknown at this point, but one occupant was transported to a local hospital as a precaution. The driver of the vehicle who crashed into a building was assessed on scene by Halton paramedics, but no serious injuries were reported.

The cause of the accident is still not clear.

Police are still investigating.
