Don’t risk your personal document falling into the wrong hands.
Crime Stoppers of Halton – in partnership with Blue Pencil Information Management – will be holding a shred event on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Halton Regional Police Service headquarters (2485 North Service Rd. in Oakville).
Running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event allows area residents to have their sensitive papers and material safely destroyed while they watch from their vehicles. Documents will be handled by volunteers and disposed of by Blue Pencil.
Donations will be accepted in all forms of payment in support of Crime Stoppers of Halton.
