What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with some creativity and connection.
Both will be in ample supply on Feb. 14, when Milton Public Library’s Sherwood Branch (6355 Main St.) welcomes award-winning artist Abiola Idowu’s Celebrating Love.
The exhibit opening is kicks off at 6 p.m. and is by registration only.
Along with meeting the internationally-renowned artist – whose paintings and sculptures reflects three decades of travel and exploration – the evening will include performances by the Oakville Oriental Arts Club, Sifag Dancers and the Exclusive Connection.
“In a world where division and discord often dominate the narrative, my exhibition seeks to challenge this status quo,” said Idowu. “My artwork is an ode to the human experience, a celebration of our shared existence, and a reminder that our individual heartbeats are connected to the collective energy of the universe.”
The exhibit will be on display until Feb. 21.
