Halton MP reportedly running for Liberal leadership

Gould said she is considering running for Liberal Party leadership on Sunday.

Burlington MP and Leader of the Government in the House of Commons Karina Gould is running for Liberal leadership, the Toronto Star reported based on an anonymous source. 

Gould, who told media on Sunday she would have more to say in the coming days, was first elected as MP in 2015. 

Currently, three other candidates have declared they are running for leadership. Nepean MP Chandra Arya, former Pierrefonds—Dollard MP Frank Baylis, and Sydney-Victoria MP Jamie Battiste.
