Santa waves to the thousands lined Main Street for the annual Milton Santa Claus Parade.

Jolly Old Saint Nicholas appears to have grown awfully fond of Milton, so much so that he’s making local visits over three straight weekends leading up to Christmas.

Santa Morgan will be setting up shop in the downtown core Dec. 7 and 8, 14 and 15 and 21 and 22, as the Halton Agricultural Society presents Santa at the Fairgrounds (136 Robert St.).

Now in its third year, the celebration runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, with free admission and a host of activities – including photo opportunities with the guest of honour for $15 each.

These will be emailed to families after each weekend (no printed hard copies). Cash and credit will be accepted.

However, some of the many local vendors on hand may only take cash.

Photos with Santa will be on a first-come, first-served basis, so visitors should expect a line up at times. Follow the event at @MiltonFallFair on Facebook and Instagram for daily updates on line length and wait times.

Please not no pets will be allowed.

In lieu of an entrance fee, organizers are collecting donations for Milton Community Resource Centre’s Fill a Crib campaign. In particularly high demand for the infant food bank are larger sized diapers, baby food pouches and jars, powdered formula and baby wipes.

Cash donations are also gladly accepted.
