Lawn Bowls Milton President Ken Armstrong and Mayor Gord Krantz invites the community to the club's season-ending Bikers, Band and Bowls.

It’s been a memorable year for the Milton Lawn Bowling Club, with the season-ending exclamation mark fast approaching.

Members and newcomers alike are invited to the 43 Commercial St. facility’s Bikers, Band and Bowls on Friday, Sept. 13.

Running from 7 to 10:30 p.m., the festivities will include a performance by popular local band Jojo and the Chintos, as well as a cash bar and 50/50 draw.

There’ll also be a special thank-you ceremony for volunteers and sponsors of last month’s Canadian Lawn Bowling Championships, during which hometown player Mike Bester came away with gold in the men’s pairs.

Newcomers can take in a lesson and game on the greens, while a VIP motorcycle parking area will be set up to showcase your ride.

Guests are asked to bring their own snacks.

Admission is $5 per person. Those planning to attend can register by Sept. 11 at miltonlawnbowling.ca.
