Mental health resources are as vast and varied as those in need of them.
With that in mind, Milton Public Library is set to host its Mental Health Awareness Fair – offering local residents an under-one-roof opportunity to learn about the services and organizations available in their own backyard.
Set for Saturday, 23 at the Main Branch (1010 Main St.), the event runs from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and is being held in partnership with Just Be You and Unsinkable.
The fair is specifically designed for youth aged 16 to 26, though all Miltonians looking to learn about mental health resources and connect with advocates are welcome to attend.
The afternoon will include games, activities, food and representatives from a variety of groups.
MPL says the fair is an opportunity to “help young people take an active role in their mental well being.”
