Zara Rehman has many aspirations, and now has a financial boost towards the biggest of these.
The Milton youth – pursuing a business technology management degree at Toronto Metropolitan University – has been one of 10 recipients of the 2024 LifeLabs Family Scholarship.
The $2,000 bursary is awarded annually to standout children of LifeLabs employees.
With a passion for environmental advocacy, Zara – the daughter of lab patient technician Neelam Rehman – is a leader with GenGreen, with which she’s promoted sustainable living and reduced gas emissions.
She’s also excelled musically, having earned first-class honours in guitar exams four times.
“At LifeLabs, we believe in the power of education to transform lives,” said Charles Brown, President and CEO of LifeLabs.
