Just in time for Christmas, a local eatery just opened its doors to make their casa tu casa.
Now open at 370 Main St. E, Tasca 370 looks to entice residents to come check out their offerings.
Manager Amy Pereira believes that anyone who fills their bellies at the restaurant will be reminded of mom’s cooking.
“I just want people to feel like they are coming home,” Pereira told MiltonToday. “We try and make everyone feel like they are family when they leave.” Accompanying Pereira is a staff “looking to do the same,” including chef Ash Sobh, whose creative take on many dishes make Tasca 370 unique in downtown Milton.
In particular, the manager recommends something customers may find to be a unique curiosity, the blackberry bacon cheesecake burger. “We have a really funky twist on a burger,” Pereira said in describing the sandwich.
“Sounds so strange, but it’s delicious,” she added.
The most popular items on Tasca 370's menu include the very upscale wagyu burger, salmon and chicken parmesan. Those staples are only enhanced by a model UN of food. Aside from the Japanese influence of the wagyu burger, some British items like fish and chips are on the menu as well as Portuguese ones like Chicken Piri Piri and bifana.
Bifana is a type of sandwich from Iberia, often described as a national dish of Portugal. It is typically stuffed with pork chops or steak beaten flat.
Adding to the homey feel is the decor. Warm lighting, leafy green flourishes and industrial piping the is a popular contemporary design choices in 2024.
“The new management has done a fantastic job trying to change it up,” Pereira said.
The staff will try their best to accommodate various dietary restrictions, so don’t hesitate to ask. The menu as is does have vegetarian and gluten-free options, like the superfood bowl. It consists of greens, crunchy chickpeas and boiled eggs, among other ingredients.
“Come visit us. Your experience will be fantastic,” Pereira said in beckoning the community to the restaurant. “And if it isn’t, I’ll come talk to you and make sure you leave happy.”
