Milton students can spend some time with therapy dogs at Milton Public Library.

Dogs aid us in almost as many ways as there are breeds, not the least of which is offering a measure of calm.

To that end, Milton Public Library is once again set to invite local high school students to its Exam De-Stress with St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs this week.

The following drop-in times are scheduled:

  • Jan. 14: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Main (1010 Main St.)
  • Jan. 14: 6 to 9 p.m. at Main
  • Jan. 15: 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Main
  • Jan. 15: 7 to 8 p.m. at Beaty (945 Fourth Line)
  • Jan. 16: 10:30 a.m. to noon at Main
  • Jan. 16: 6 to 7 p.m. at Main
  • Jan. 16: 7 to 8 p.m at Sherwood (6355 Main St.)
  • Jan. 18: 1 to 4 p.m. at Main

All students are welcome and can meet the dogs on a first-come, first-served basis. Wait times are expected, so as not to crowd or overwhelm the animals.
