Suspected chop shop raided in south Milton

About a dozen dismantled vehicles discovered by Halton police

A Halton police investigation is underway following the raid on a suspected chop shop in rural Milton.

Earlier today (Friday), members of the auto theft task force recovered what appears to be close to a dozen high-end vehicles that were in the process of being dismantled and allegedly sold for parts.

Among the vehicles discovered at the Lower Base Line and Trafalgar Road site – near the Milton-Oakville border – were a Range Rover and Volkswagen.

Halton police media relations officer Jeff Dhillon said no further details are available at this time and that the incident remains under investigation.

This appears to be the same location in which a similar raid was made in June 2023, resulting in charges for two Brampton men.
