Milton’s Victoria Bach scored her first of the new PWHL season at Coca-Cola Collision Saturday.
Her second-period tally evened things up at 2-2 in an eventual 6-3 loss to the defending champion Minnesota Frost, who bested Bach’s Toronto Sceptres in last year’s semifinals.
The 28-year-old forward – a 2022 Olympic alternate – had two goals and three assists during the inaugural PWHL season, while earning his teacher’s degree.
She and the Sceptres, now 1-2, will visit New York Wednesday, Dec. 18 to face top pick and league scoring leader Sarah Fillier and the Sirens.
They return to Toronto to take on the Montreal Victorie Saturday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m.
The Sceptres are currently missing fellow Miltonian Meg Carter, a big shutdown defender taken in the second round of this spring’s draft.
She remains on extended injury reserve with a lower body injury.
