Justin Dezoete held the hot hand for the Menace Friday, scoring three times in a 5-2 win over Georgetown.

Justin Dezoete had the biggest audience of the season for his biggest performance to date.

With 1,023 spectators at Memorial Arena Friday night, the Menace’s recently-acquired forward delivered a rare natural hat-trick in the second period to lead the hosts to a 5-2 victory over the Georgetown Raiders.

With an assist added to the mix, he now has 15 points in six games since joining the local juniors.

Picked up earlier this week from the King Rebellion, 20-year-old goalie Carter Bickle made a 31-save debut to help extend the Menace’s win streak to six games.

With the victory, Milton took over sole possession of third place in the OJHL’s West Conference and now sits at 21-9-0-3.

The Menace jumped out to a 4-0 lead in front of the packed barn and got three-point nights from captain Graeme MacAuley (1g, 2a) and Luke Johnston (3a).

Alessandro Petreccia put the game away with a late empty netter.

Unbeaten in regulation time since Nov. 8, Milton will look to keep rolling when they close out a three-game homestand Sunday against the Wellington Dukes. Game time is 6 p.m.

The Menace are still without the services of 16-year-old standout Ryder Cali, who’s competing with Canada East at this week’s Jr. A World Challenge in Camrose, Alberta.
