The Menace’s top marksman rediscovered his scoring touch at St. Michaels Tuesday, but that wasn’t enough for victory.
Snapping a seven-goal goalless stretch, Gabriel Ciarello sank his team-leading 11th and 12th of the season before the Buzzers erased both leads and outdistanced Milton 4-2.
This marked the fourth time in seven games the now 10-8-0-1 Menace were held to two goals or less.
Austin McKillop was between the pipes for the loss, while drawing assists were Dean Deligeorgis and Alexandr Siletskiy.
Milton has won just four times in their last 12 outings since a 6-1 season start.
They close out a three-game road trip in Niagara Falls Friday and return to Memorial Arena Friday, Nov. 8 to take on Buffalo. Game time, as always, is 7:30 p.m.
