Menace short-circuit Chargers to cap weekend sweep

Milton has now won five of their last six games
menace-header

The Menace closed out November in dominant fashion last night, downing the host Mississauga Chargers 7-2.

After having a pair of early leads erased, Milton enjoyed a pair of second-half scoring surges en route to the convincing victory.

They netted three goals in a 2:46 span late in the second and put things away with goals 25 seconds apart in the final frame.

Recently invited to the Canada East Selection Camp in Calgary, Ryder Cali notched his team-leading 14th and 15th goals of the season – putting him top-10 among the OJHL.

He also drew an assist on the night, while Tristan Tremble and Ivan Fabjan finished with a goal and an assist. Rounding out the scoring were Ashtyn Pacheco and Nathan Catalano.

Ethan Kowatsch made 28 saves for the win, the Menace’s fifth in their last six outings.

Now 17-9-0-3, Milton completes a home-and-home series with Mississauga this coming Friday (Dec. 6) at Memorial Arena. Game time, as always, is 7:30 p.m.
