Austin McKillop turned back 18 shots for his 16th season win last night against Caledon.

Two third-period goals essentially sealed the deal, as the Menace toppled the Western Conference basement-dwelling Caledon Admirals 4-1 Thursday.

Austin McKillop had a relatively quiet night between the pipes – facing just nine shots in the last two periods and 19 overall – for his 16th win this season.

The victory lifted Milton to 28-11-0-3, strengthening their hold on third place.

Ryder Cali broke a five-game scoreless streak with his 18th of the year, while Markus Hicks had a goal and an assist and Cole Semeniuk and Alexandr Siletskiy also found the back of the net.

Caledon’s lone goal came shorthanded early in the third.

With just one loss in their last seven games, the Menace are back at Memorial Arena tonight (Jan. 24) to take on the conference-leading Leamington Flyers.

Game time is 7:30 p.m.
