Milton Menace light up Chargers for third straight win

Mid-season surge continues with offensive outburst

A balanced, relentless attack.

Menace fans enjoyed a heaping dose of that at Memorial Arena Friday night, as the local juniors toppled the Mississauga Chargers 10-5.

In lifting Milton to 18-9-0-3, eight different host players scored and 14 recorded points.

Milton jumped out to a 4-0 lead en route to their convincing win and recorded just their third shorthanded goal of the season – off the stick of Marco Costante.

Ivan Fabjan and Nathan Catalano each tallied twice, with Gavin Sheehan, Madden MacDougall and Kaden Smith all finishing with a goal and two assists.

Ashtyn Pacheco and Luke Johnston rounded out the scoring and Tristan Tremble compiled a club season high five helpers.

In net for the win was Austin McKillop.

Friday marked the Menace’s third straight win, and sixth victory in their last seven games. It came without the services of top scorer Ryder Cali, who's in Alberta with Canada East for the upcoming Jr. A World Challenge.

They’ll look to keep rolling when they visit Buffalo Sunday evening.
