The Menace’s top scorers were at the top of their game in Georgetown Wednesday.
Coming through in the clutch, Madden MacDougall and Luke Johnston each tallied twice and added an assist to fuel a 4-2 comeback victory over the Raiders.
This pushed Milton’s win streak to four games and was their 11th victory in their last 12 games. They now sit at 26-10-0-3 – eight points back of second-place Collingwood, with two games in hand.
MacDougall scored the game winner with 5:08 remaining and sank an empty netter to seal the deal.
Johnston erased the hosts’ two one-goal leads in the first and third periods. Milton’s first three goals all came on the powerplay.
Ryder Cali contributed a pair of assists, while Austin McKillop turned back 21 shots for the win.
The Menace return to Memorial Arena Friday to take on Niagara Falls. Game time is 7:30 p.m. They close out the weekend at home Sunday (6 p.m.) against Collingwood in a battle they may well determine who finishes second in the OJHL’s Western Conference.
