It was a weekend of success and suspense for the Jr. A Menace.
Following Friday’s 2-1 nail-biter over Oakville, Milton upped the drama upon returning to Memorial Arena – eclipsing the Lindsay Muskies 3-2.
Owen Kindree provided the heroics, sinking the game winner with just 21 seconds remaining on a night where his hosts enjoyed a 51-27 shots on goal advantage.
Austin McKillop continued a strong November stretch between the pipes for the win, which lifted the Menace to 14-9-0-2 and kept them in fifth place in the OJHL’s West Conference.
Ashtyn Pacheco and Ivan Fabjan gave Milton first and second-period leads respectively, while assisting on the last two goals was Dean Deligeorgis.
The Menace are back in action this Friday (Nov. 22) when they host the league-leading Leamington Flyers. Game time, as always, is 7:30 p.m.
