A male cyclist has been sent to hospital after he was struck by a vehicle in Milton this morning (Sept. 15).

Halton police media relations officer Jeff Dillon said the collision occurred at 10:15 a.m. on Guelph Line between 10 and 15 Sideroad, where a man in his 50s was hit by a vehicle simply described as a ‘car’.

The driver remained on scene.

He suffered non-life threatening injuries, the specifics of which are not currently available.

The cause of the collision is under investigation and there are no road closures as a result of it.
