Driver sought in Milton hit-and-run that left two youths injured

Halton police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run in Milton Halloween night.

The collision – which left two male youths with minor injuries – occurred at about 9:45 p.m. on Oct. 31 on McCuaig Drive. The boys were walking eastbound when they were struck by a westbound vehicle at the McCuaig and Andrews Trail intersection.

The vehicle then reversed out of the intersection and proceeded west on McCuaig Drive and north onto Thompson Road.

Other vehicles were stopped at the intersection and remained on scene. The two youths suffered minor injuries and one was transported to hospital.

The vehicle is described as a newer model (2021 or 2022) black Honda Civic.

Anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed the collision and has not spoken to police is urged to do so. Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact the Cst. Kamba at 905-825-4777 ext. 7441.
