Halton police are looking for a man accused of using a stun gun on a woman outside St. Louis Bar and Grill.
According to Sgt. Jeff Dillon, Halton police’s media relations officer, the incident occurred at around 2:25 a.m. Sunday (Sept. 15), when a verbal altercation escalated between the two outside the Santa Maria Boulevard bar and restaurant. The male suspect allegedly used a conducted energy weapon, believed to be a stun gun, on the female victim’s forearm — delivering an electrical shock.
The suspect then fled the scene.
The victim did not sustain any physical injuries, and the investigation continues.
The suspect is described as a male with facial scars, wearing a fitted cap, dark-coloured pants and dark-coloured top. He was seen leaving in a light-coloured, four-door sedan.
