Vandalism has become a recent trend at Milton District High School.

This past weekend marked the third time this month vandals targeted portables at the Williams Avenue school – with major damage caused this time around.

Halton police media relations officer Ryan Anderson reports that sometime between Friday night (Dec. 13) and Saturday morning, unknown suspect(s) smashed a window to gain entry to one of the portables.

Once inside, they did a number on the classroom – including destroying laptops and throwing a desk halfway out the window.

Two Christmas trees were also broken in half, while two chairs were lodged into the walls.

Furthermore, ceiling tiles were broken and the fire extinguisher was set off and sprayed around the room.

Another portable had its window smashed, but no other damage was caused to it.

No suspect description is available.

The investigation continues.
