Halton police are investigating after a local school was broken into and vandalized overnight.
According to Const. Ryan Anderson, media relations officer with the police, the incident — involving “severe vandalism” to two portable classrooms at Milton District High School (on Williams Avenue) — occurred around 3 a.m. Sunday (Oct. 27).
The suspects, described as two men, entered the portables by forcing open a window and proceeded to damage desks, chairs, ceiling, walls and projectors within the classrooms.
An estimate for the damage is not yet available, and no arrests have been made.
