It was a memorable New Year’s for one area resident, but certainly not of the favourable variety.
Halton police media relations officer Jeff Dillon reports that a Jeep SUV was stolen from the Milton Cineplex Cinemas parking lot on Maple Avenue. The theft occurred sometime between 10 p.m. Dec. 31 and 12:20 a.m. Jan. 1.
No suspect description is available and anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact police at (905) 825-4777.
