Teens charged in robbery on GO bus in Milton

Victim assaulted but not injured during incident last night

Two Hamilton teens are facing charges after a robbery on a GO bus last night (Feb. 12) in Milton.

According to Halton police media relations officer Jeff Dillon, two male passengers demanded a man’s jacket and personal belongings while the bus was travelling in the Derry Road and Sixth Line area around 9 p.m.

The victim was assaulted, but not injured. No weapons were used or seen.

Police were immediately called and the two suspects were promptly arrested without incident.

A 15-year-old male is charged with robbery, while a 13-year-old boy faces charges of robbery and failure to comply with a probation order.

The charges have not been tested in court.
