Woman charged with impaired driving after late-night Milton traffic stop

A woman has been charged with impaired driving following a late-night traffic stop in Milton.

Halton police initiated a RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) program in the area of James Snow Parkway and Main Street East at 11 p.m. last Sunday (Dec. 8).

At around 11:30 p.m., police arrested and charged a 56-year-old woman from Brampton with operating a vehicle while impaired and having a blood alcohol concentration of 80mgs or more, within two hours.

The charges have not been tested in court.
