Students can spend some time with therapy dogs at Milton Public Library.

Exam time can be an especially stressful one for many students.

With that in mind, Milton Public Library is offering a little anxiety relief in the most paws-itive way possible.

All three branches – Main, Beaty and Sherwood – are welcoming St. John Ambulance therapy dogs to help teens pet their cares away.

Along with the physical and emotional benefits therapy dogs provide, some studies show spending time with them helps with memory and cognitive function.

The dogs will be visiting from 6 to 8 p.m. on the following days:

Thursday, June 20 – Main, Beaty and Sherwood

Monday, June 24 – Main and Sherwood

Tuesday, June 25 – Main, Beaty and Sherwood

Wednesday, June 26 – Main, Beaty and Sherwood

Time will be allotted on a first-come, first-serve basis so as not to crowd and overwhelm the dogs.
