Frankie and the Fairlanes will perform at St. Paul's United Church Oct. 27.

St. Paul’s United Church is ready to rock – old school.

Doing the honours later this month will be the renowned Frankie and the Fairlanes, who’ll break out a wide variety of ‘50s and ‘60s favourites – everything from classic and retro to lounge and surf tunes – during their Oct. 27 performance.

Tickets for the afternoon concert (3 p.m. start) are $25 for adults and $10 for children. Seats can be booked by Etransfer by emailing [email protected] or calling 905-878-8895, press #1.

The upcoming show is part of St. Paul’s ongoing entertainment series to help raise funds for its stained glass Rose Window repair project.

Previous acts that have lent their talents to the restoration initiative have included Tyler the Magician, the Halton police band, a children’s school choir and blue grass favourite Rescue Junction.

Capping the series on Nov. 28 will be accomplished impersonator Dave Lafame, who’s made a couple of appearances at the Italian Community Centre Milton.
